Foundation for Education in Guinea-Bissau

About Us

Who are we?

Volunteers who help us bring together the dedication of the hundreds of supporters who have contributed to this work over the years.

If you look at this world with open eyes, you will see many difficulties and, as a result, many opportunities to help. This is especially needed in the poor areas of Africa.

We want to change the lives of the people living in Guinea-Bissau through love. We don't just want to talk about it, but to do it together, which we feel is our mission.

The organizers of our foundation:

Matthew

Building the Kingdom of God, preaching the Gospel to the “end of the earth” is part of Christ’s mission. This was the primary reason I joined the Guinea-Bissau ministry. Also, as a sports enthusiast, it is a great joy and ambition to support local sports education to improve the life prospects of children in terms of health and well-being. It is exciting to transfer my financial experience from the for-profit business world to the non-profit sector.

Sami

Looking at the world, I see how blessed we are, and this is a great responsibility. The memories and results of our work in Cacine, Bissau, encourage and motivate me in my service here at home and in Africa.

Zalan

More than 4 years spent in Cacine have brought changes in many areas of my life, for which I am infinitely grateful to God. I would like to take advantage of those many blessings and opportunities. I believe that by working together, we can be part of many miracles and changes in the history of Guinea-Bissau.

How can we help?

Our mission and vision:

We believe that the people of Guinea-Bissau can rise out of poverty and live full lives with dignity.

Through education, health facilities and sustainable livelihood opportunities, we support families so that their children can learn and grow up safely, without being forced into vulnerable situations.
